Hi Clare❤ what a great collection of crochet bags you have. I've made 2 of the 5. I did make a craddle for my granddaughters. They used them for many years. Then, I tested the panel bag with you. I keep my paper patterns and card cards in it in my craft room. It's wonderful seeing you back in that side of the screen x x

Haaa!! So glad this popped into my feed. I’ve made #5 for my veggies and get tons of compliments! I think I’ll make the water bottle holder for my young grands. A great variety of bag patterns! I prefer using 1 strand of yarn but use 2 strands sometimes when crocheting cat scrap blankets for our local RSPCA. The only bag patterns I've crocheted are ones that Knit4Charities did as their CALs. K4C is the national charity group I belong to. My fave pattern that we did was a Jacob's Ladder bag. I use 1 for my WIPs & gave 1 to a friend a couple of Christmases ago for a beach bag. Stay warm!!! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

Just finished my first ever cradle bag. 🥳 I made it for my daughter’s 11” baby doll. I followed your pattern exactly until the ruffles. I used lion brand hometown yarn for the base, making 2 together so it’s more solid in white with a 8 mm hook, Bernat blanket yarn with a 6.5 mm hook for the body & hood, & white baby velvet yarn for the ruffles, with a 3.75mm hook putting in extra stitches in the 1st & 2nd row to achieve the ruffles. The tie I sc with a 2.5 mm hook over 1/4” clear elastic with pink 5 ply milk cotton yarn that I had because I’m afraid she’ll pull too tight & it might cause issues especially since velvet & chenille yarn is known for breaking if pulled too tight. I’m not on Facebook to show a picture but I wish I could here. Thanks so much for helping to make her day! I went into detail in case anyone wanted to try & make a bigger one like I did.
